Mackay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic for the Mackay Base Hospital to join the Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS). The role focuses on HVAC-R systems across domestic, commercial, and industrial facilities with responsibility for planned preventive maintenance and small project work.

The BEMS team provides essential maintenance and engineering support across MHHS facilities, ensuring OH&S compliance and adherence to AS/NZ standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC-R systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain domestic, commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems including planned preventive maintenance.
• Contribute to minor works and projects in building and facility maintenance.
