Air Xtreme Heating and Cooling in Melton, Victoria seeks a Qualified HVAC / Mechanical Plumber or a 2nd–4th Year Apprentice to join our team. The role covers residential and commercial projects across Melbourne and regional Victoria, including ducted reverse-cycle systems, splits, and mechanical services.

We value pride in workmanship, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and with apprentices.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Mechanical Services / Plumbing / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
• Hold Victorian licences and registrations for your trade.
• Current Victorian driver's licence.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or with a team.
• Willing to develop trade with on-site mentoring and training.

Responsibilities

• Work across residential and commercial HVAC projects.
• Install and service ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning systems.
• Handle split and multi-split system installations and commissioning.
• Rough-ins, fit-offs and system upgrades on site.
• Collaborate with builders and clients, and support apprentices.

Air Xtreme Heating and Cooling - Melton VIC

Air Xtreme Team is looking for a Qualified HVAC / Mechanical Plumber or a motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing / Mechanical Services / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to join our team.

Based in Melton, Victoria, we work across residential and commercial projects throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good attitude and wants to build a long-term future with the right company.

What You'll Be Working On as our work is varied and includes:

Ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning

Split and multi-split systems

Evaporative cooling

Mechanical services

New builds and existing homes

System changeovers and upgrades

Rough-ins, fit-offs and commissioning

Residential and commercial HVAC projects

Service and fault finding opportunities depending on experience

We’d like to hear from you if you:

Are qualified in Mechanical Services / Plumbing / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Have relevant heating and cooling installation experience

Hold the appropriate Victorian licences and registrations for your trade

Hold a current Victorian driver's licence

Take pride in the quality of your workmanship

Are reliable and able to manage your day effectively

Can work independently as well as part of a team

Work well with apprentices and other trades

Can problem solve on site without needing constant direction

Communicate professionally with builders, clients and the Air Xtreme team

Want to become part of a business and grow with it long term

Is committed to completing their apprenticeship and becoming a quality tradesperson

Holds a current driver's licence or is working towards one
