Job summary

Ventia is seeking a qualified Transmission Linesworker to join our expanding Energy and Renewables team in South Australia. You will perform maintenance and construction on transmission lines from 66kV to 500kV, including lifting, climbing, trenching for underground cables, and installing components.

This permanent full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and allowances. Based in Adelaide or willing to relocate, you will work safely with an emphasis on public protection and crew safety,

Qualifications

Certificate III in ESI Transmission – Overhead or equivalent.
SA Electrical License (interstate applicants may apply).
High voltage or high risk certifications required.
Nationally recognised live line stick and/or barehand transmission experience.
Strong understanding of transmission safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and construction tasks to safely complete work.
Work on 66kV–500kV transmission lines with proper policies.
Lift, climb poles, trench for underground cables, or work from buckets.
Install and repair poles, cables and electrical equipment on overhead systems.
Ensure public and crew safety through PPE and emergency procedures.
Operate equipment including bucket trucks and complete reports.
