Job summary

AusNet is seeking an HV Testing professional to deliver high-voltage testing services and provide trusted technical advice to AusNet and our external customers. The role covers commissioning, condition assessment and diagnostic testing of primary electrical plant, ensuring equipment is safe and ready for service.

You’ll work in the field across Victoria from the Yarraville depot and collaborate with engineers, customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• HV testing experience and ability to work in field environments.
• Associates diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan day-to-day workload for testing team to maximise throughput.
• Develop and improve HV testing processes to meet accreditations.
• Maintain HSEQ requirements for HV Testing team.
• Identify risks and assist in contingency planning.
