Job summary

Powertech in Perth is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Senior High Voltage Technician to join our Malaga-based office on a full-time basis. The role covers commissioning, testing and maintenance of HV protections and substation systems across Australia and SE Asia. Candidates should have 10+ years experience, A Grade electrical license or degree in Power Systems, and familiarity with IEC61850/GOOSE.

Relocation support is available. Travel may be project-based.

Qualifications

• HV experience with protection systems and substations
• Experience with IEC61850/GOOSE communications is desirable
• Strong safety, communication and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV protection systems and substations
• Provide technical support and leadership to technicians
• Prepare commissioning/testing documentation and detailed technical reports
