Job summary
EPSA Pacific seeks a qualified High Voltage Electrician for its Australian operations, based at Callide Mine near Biloela, Queensland. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting A/C and electrical systems on heavy vehicles, performing repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards, and ensuring safety and quality through effective resource use.
The position offers an attractive hourly rate with super, above-award leave entitlements, salary sacrifice options, camp accommodation and meals,
Qualifications
- Current S11 certification.
- Australian driver’s licence.
- High Voltage switching ticket.
- Relevant trade qualification and other tickets as appropriate.
- Experience with diesel electric haul trucks, preferably Komatsu.
- Ability to read and understand parts manuals.
- Team player with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to health, safety, quality and environment.
- Willingness to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain A/C systems on heavy vehicles and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults.
- Carry out repairs and servicing per manufacturer and company standards.
- Ensure tools/equipment are maintained and return items from store.
- Work with maintenance crews to meet maintenance plans and schedules.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
