Job summary

Zinfra PTY Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Network Operator to join our Broadmeadows depot on a permanent basis.

You will help operate and maintain the Electrical Distribution System for the Jemena network, performing switching, issuing access authorities, and supporting fault restoration in a safety‑driven environment. Ideal applicants will have an Advanced Diploma of ESI Power systems or Cert III Electrotechnology and a current Australian Driver's Licence, with strong communication skills and a

Qualifications

• Experience working on electrical networks and ability to carry out switching activities.
• Ability to support fault response and restoration.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and drawings; read network schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate zone substation and distribution equipment including switching on JEN.
• Issue Electrical Access Authorities and related documentation for safe network access.
• Test and commission new and damaged apparatus.
• Provide Network Operations Control (NOC) relief activities.
• Interpret high/low voltage diagrams and construction drawings.
• Work rostered shifts and overtime for planned/unplanned switching and emergency response.
