Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the QLD Service team to deliver HV electrical design, estimation, and project management across mining and utilities sectors. You will contribute to budgets, tenders, and customer communications while supporting on-site activities and product service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in similar roles within mining or manufacturing, and hold an Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across design, projects, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical designs and technical documentation for substations, transformers, switchgear and breakers.
• Support budget development, tenders, customer liaison and progress reviews.
• Deliver site-based electrical engineering services, training, and ongoing client support.
