Job summary

City of Playford is seeking a Human Resources Partner to work with leaders across a diverse organisation of almost 500 employees. You will support teams from community services to corporate functions, providing cohesive, valuable services across the employee lifecycle.

You will deliver considered advice on recruitment, performance, talent, and change, using data to inform decisions and continuously improving HR practices. This is a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract based in Adelaide.

Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with leaders across a broad range of human resources matters.
  • Strong coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to navigate complexity with confidence, professionalism, and sound judgement.
  • A solutions-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to customer service.
  • A collaborative approach and a desire to continuously improve both yourself and the team around you.
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leaders to support workforce planning and organisational capability.
  • Provide trusted advice on recruitment, performance, talent, employee relations, and change.
  • Use workforce insights and data to help leaders make informed people decisions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices, policies, and processes.
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver exceptional service.
