Allura Partners in Chatswood is seeking a part-time HR Manager to lead HR operations, manage one HR Coordinator, and uplift leadership across multiple hubs.

Reporting to the CFO, you will build HR infrastructure from the ground up, drive Workday enhancements, and partner with senior leaders to shape the future of HR while maintaining a strong, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Senior HR partner/manager with autonomy in standalone settings.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and NZ employment law and compliance.
• Experience building HR infrastructure in scaling businesses.
• Proven coaching and influencing skills with executives.
• Experience managing a direct report.
• Experience delivering full HR cycles including performance and remuneration reviews.
• Experience with Workday HRIS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted adviser to senior leaders on people strategy and workforce planning.
• Lead end-to-end HR cycles, onboarding, and performance/remuneration reviews.
• Coach and uplift leadership across hubs; mentor the HR Coordinator.
• Drive HR transformation and Workday builds within a global program.
• Build HR infrastructure with an entrepreneurial, design-focused approach.

About the Company

Our client is a global Financial Services business operating across Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada and the UK. Headquartered in Chatswood with offices nationally, the business is in a growth and transformation phase, having recently implemented Workday and now progressing phase two.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, this is a commercial, strategic and project-focused generalist role. You will manage all HR operations, lead and develop one HR Coordinator, and uplift leadership capability across multiple hubs. Working closely with senior leaders, you will have genuine creative license to build and shape the future of HR.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, performance management and complex employee relations matters
• Lead end-to-end HR cycles, including performance and remuneration reviews, onboarding, and talent and succession planning
• Coach, develop and uplift leadership capability across multiple hubs, while mentoring and developing one HR Coordinator
• Drive HR transformation and automation, including Workday builds and continuous process improvement as part of a global change program
• Build and embed HR infrastructure, bringing an entrepreneurial, ideas-driven approach to designing the future of HR

Skills and Experience

• Solid, proven experience as a senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager, ideally in a standalone or autonomous setting
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment law, ER/IR and workplace compliance
• Demonstrated track record building and embedding HR infrastructure from the ground up within a scaling business.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills, particularly with senior leaders and executive teams
• People management experience, with the ability to develop and grow a direct report
• Self-sufficient, curious and innovative, with an entrepreneurial and passionate approach to HR
• Experience managing full HR cycle events
• Experience with HRIS Workday and exposure to financial services or insurance is highly desirable
