About you
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources, industrial relations or a related discipline.
  • At least five years’ experience in a generalist, operational HR or employee relations role, ideally within a multi-site business.
  • Sound working knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, the National Employment Standards and WHS obligations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters from start to finish.
  • A strong track record coaching and upskilling managers to handle people matters confidently and consistently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to work effectively with frontline employees, managers and senior executives.
  • A proactive, practical and commercially minded approach, with strong judgement and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Employment Hero, workers compensation or the motor vehicle, insurance or claims management sectors will be highly regarded.
