Morson Edge (Australia) is seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our Melbourne CBD team in a permanent, full‑time capacity. An exciting opportunity for an accomplished HR leader to take on a senior people leadership position within an established organisation operating across major construction and infrastructure projects.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the people strategy across a complex, project-led business. With significant projects currently in delivery and continued growth planned, this is a broad and influential role spanning strategic HR, workforce planning, organisational capability, ER/IR, talent, culture and leadership.
Leading an established HR function, you will work closely with executive, corporate and project leadership to ensure the people strategy supports both current operations and the organisation's longer-term growth.
You will be a commercially minded and experienced HR leader with the credibility to operate at executive level, combined with a strong understanding of the operational realities of major construction and project environments.
The way you operate will be equally important to your technical HR capability.
You will be collaborative, patient and pragmatic, with the confidence to challenge constructively and the judgement to understand when and how to influence. This is an environment where decisions can require consultation, alignment and time.
