Job summary

Queensland Health's Cairns region is seeking a Senior Human Resources Consultant to partner with senior leaders, drive strategic workforce solutions, and improve workplace culture across CHHHS.

You will deliver ethical HR advice, identify trends, promote coaching and effective people management, and support workforce capability while navigating policy and governance.

Qualifications

  • Collaborative engagement with clients to embed a coaching culture and improve leadership and people management capability.
  • Identify, analyse and review issues with P&C managers relating to people, culture and organisational capability.
  • Provide quality HR advice and recommendations on workforce challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative engagement approach with clients to embed a coaching culture and improve the leadership and people management capability of CHHHS to best achieve its objectives.
  • Identify, analyse and review emerging issues and trends in liaison with specialist P&C team managers relating to people, culture and organisational capability promoting awareness across the health service.
  • Research, and interpret causation issues providing quality, contemporary and ethical HR advice and recommendations to people leaders on key workforce challenges which support achievement of both the client's and organ.

In your new role you will…
