Lucent Advisory is a modern outsourced financial services firm offering accounting, payroll, and HR solutions to ambitious Australian businesses. We challenge the traditional model by combining cloud-based systems with a human-first approach.

We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver day-to-day HR advice and services to our outsourced HR clients. This role covers the full employee lifecycle, award interpretation, policy guidance, employee relations, HR system support, and monthly compliance reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely HR/ER advice across Fair Work, NES, and Modern Awards
  • Draft compliant employment documents (contracts, warnings, letters)
  • Support ER matters and escalate complex issues where required
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes and probation tracking
  • Maintain accurate HR records and issue compliant documents
  • Run monthly compliance reports for clients
  • Be the first contact for HRIS queries and simple configuration updates
  • Monitor compliance items via Employment Hero and follow up with clients
  • Support Employment Hero scoping and build tasks when required

About You:

You are a HR professional who thrives in a client-facing environment. You are confident interpreting awards, managing employee relations matters, and juggling multiple client accounts with competing priorities.

You’ll bring:

  • 3–5 years’ HR Business Partner experience (ideally across SMEs and multiple industries)
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES, and Modern Awards
  • Hands-on lifecycle experience (contracts, onboarding, terminations)
  • HRIS capability (Employment Hero preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources are essential. AHRI membership is a bonus but not essential.

What’s on Offer:

  • A fully remote full-time permanent role
  • Supportive onboarding and structured development
  • Exposure to a variety of industries and awards
  • A values-driven team culture
