Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Sydney is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to advise business leaders on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organisational development. This role partners closely with leaders to deliver effective HR solutions and drive performance across the region.

You will lead best practices across the employee life cycle, support succession planning, and ensure compliant, proactive HR support with strong stakeholder engagement and communication.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an equivalent HR Business Partner or generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards, enterprise agreement workings and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting leaders through employee relations and performance matters together with knowledge of our external regulatory environment
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, consultation, and communication skills
  • A proactive, practical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving people-focused initiatives that enable organisational performance, workforce capability, and a high-quality employee experience. This role partners closely with leaders to deliver effective workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organisational development.

Lead, manage, and promote people management practices to achieve success through excellent stakeholder relationships and continuous service improvement activities for the region, including but not limited to:
