Job summary

Trinity College, located in the northern Adelaide region, is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to support HR across multiple sites during a parental leave cover. The role reports to the Director of People & Culture and covers onboarding, contracts, recruitment, industrial relations, and HRIS initiatives.

You will combine technical HR expertise with collaboration, empathy and a focus on staff development to deliver excellent outcomes for students and staff.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in the implemention of a HRIS or similar system would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
  • Proven ability to influence positive outcomes through constructive and proactive HR practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on process efficiency and legal compliance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the integrity of HR data and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support across the full spectrum of HR practices, including employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, staff transitions, probation, absence management, and terminations.
  • Manage the preparation of employment contracts, position descriptions and other employment data.
  • Support our recruitment programs across the College as we build and promote a compelling employee value proposition.
  • Offer guidance and advice on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with industrial frameworks, legislation and best practices.
  • Assist with the rollout of cultural and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Engage in the continued implementation of a new HRIS and Payroll system, supporting the transition and optimising the platform to meet our College and staff needs.

Human Resource Business Partner

Trinity College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Business Partner to join our team for a fixed term period to support the team whilst a member is taking parental leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking HR function and support the College’s mission to deliver exceptional outcomes for students.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the Human Resource Business Partner is integral to the HR guidance provided to the College. Providing quality support across key HR practices and initiatives - this role delivers qualified advice, fosters a positive and supportive team culture, and drives initiatives that promote staff development and engagement across our Schools, OSHC, and STARplex teams.

Key Responsibilities

Skills and Experience
