Job summary

Quantum Support Services in Morwell, Victoria, seeks a dedicated practitioner to join our family violence and child wellbeing team. You will collaborate with partner agencies within the Orange Door to deliver effective, responsive services and help people identify violence and wellbeing issues.

You will conduct safety and wellbeing assessments, provide guidance based on risk tools, and offer tailored support for victims, families, children, and perpetrators.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Family Violence drivers, risk assessment and safety planning.
• Experience working with families and children with complex needs and risk issues.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive safety and wellbeing assessments.
• Proven ability to engage with families who are reluctant to use support services.
• Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence | Working with Children Check | Police Check.
• Minimum of Bachelor in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Family Therapy or substantial related experience.
