Job summary

BHP Carrapateena is seeking a Manager HSS to lead safety, health, security, emergency management and assurance across the operation. You will translate strategy into practical plans, drive risk management, and develop senior leadership partnerships to deliver safe, sustainable performance in a large underground copper operation.

Based at Carrapateena on a 5/2, 4/3 roster, you will lead a team within Copper SA HSS leadership, focusing on continuous improvement and regulatory compliance while

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and influencing ability with senior stakeholders.
• Technical expertise across HSS disciplines including health management.
• Extensive knowledge of HSS risk management concepts and practices.
• Experience in regulated mining or heavy industry; mining legislation knowledge is a plus.
• Evidence-based decision making aligned to business objectives.
