Job summary

Civeo Australia is seeking an HSQE Advisor to support village-based hospitality operations and frontline teams across accommodation, catering, cleaning and support services. You will provide practical HSQE guidance, conduct risk assessments, inspections and audits, and contribute to incident investigations and hazard management.

Ideal candidates will combine technical HSQE knowledge with strong communication and practical problem-solving skills, and be comfortable operating in a remote FIFO

Qualifications

• Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Work Health and Safety, or related area.
• Current Australian driver’s license.
• Experience in a safety, quality, risk, compliance or related operational role.
• Sound understanding of risk management, hazard identification, incident investigation, and corrective action management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a remote FIFO village environment.
• Meet the requirements of a pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Civeo’s HSQE Integrated Management System at site level.
• Conduct inspections, audits and risk assessments across village operations.
• Monitor hazards, incidents, corrective actions and compliance trends.
• Coach and support managers, supervisors and frontline teams in safe work practices.
• Support food safety hygiene, housekeeping and quality assurance activities.
• Assist with toolbox talks, inductions, training and communication of key learnings.
• Support emergency preparedness, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
