Job summary

Grove is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to own the function across the business. You will lead operational health, safety, environment and quality performance, set clear standards and drive accountability at all levels.

You will champion technology adoption, streamline reporting, and use data to identify trends and risks for better outcomes. You will own investigations, audits and corrective actions while coaching teams to sustain improved practices.

Grove is looking for a strong, operational HSEQ Manager with the capability to take ownership and the drive to move the business forward.

We need someone who can lead confidently, hold their own and turn good ideas into better ways of working. Someone who understands operations, challenges outdated practices and brings our teams with them.

You’ll own HSEQ across Grove, with leadership backing and the expectation that you’ll set the direction, make decisions and deliver.

The opportunity

This role combines hands-on operational leadership with a clear mandate to improve how HSEQ works across the business.

Technology adoption will be a key part of your responsibility. You’ll identify where digital tools, automation and better use of data can reduce administration, improve visibility and make it easier for our teams to work safely and efficiently. You’ll lead those changes through implementation, training and everyday use.

We’re looking for someone who can see what needs to change, build a practical solution and push it through to completion.

What you’ll own

Operational HSEQ leadership: Be present in the business, understand the work and drive strong health, safety, environment and quality performance.

Standards and accountability: Set clear expectations, challenge poor practices and hold people at every level accountable.

Innovation and technology adoption: Lead the selection, implementation and adoption of tools that improve how we manage HSEQ.

Simpler, more efficient processes: Remove duplication, streamline reporting and make systems easier for the people using them.

Better information and decisions: Use data to identify trends, target risks and give leaders a clear view of performance.

Delivery and follow-through: Own investigations, audits, compliance and corrective actions, ensuring issues are properly resolved.

Team capability: Coach our people, challenge established habits and make improved ways of working stick.

You’re a capable HSEQ leader with the strength of character to take responsibility and the judgement to use your authority well.

Relevant HSEQ qualifications and sound knowledge of applicable legislation and standards.
