Job summary

Transit Systems NSW is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Program and Communications Lead to own end-to-end communications for HSW programs. You will design and deliver campaigns, coordinate stakeholders and agencies, and drive energy and lasting behaviour change across the organisation.

You will lead flagship moments like Safety Week and Wellbeing Week, shaping how people experience safety and wellbeing, with a creative storytelling approach and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• Background in communications, marketing or campaigns within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong writing and storytelling with a creative mindset.
• Experience delivering end-to-end campaigns or events with timelines and reporting.

As our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Program and Communications Lead, you\'ll own the end-to-end communications and engagement that bring our HSW programs to life. From ideation through to delivery, reporting and continuous improvement, you\'ll manage our key annual campaigns, including Safety Week and Wellbeing Week, coordinating stakeholders, agencies and internal teams to create energy, excitement and lasting behaviour change.

You'll bring creativity and storytelling to translate complex safety topics into campaigns our people genuinely connect with. Please note this role is only available on a full-time basis.

We\'re interested in hearing from people who:

• Bring a background in communications, marketing or campaigns, ideally within a large, complex organisation.
• Have strong writing and storytelling capability with a creative, ideas-led mindset.
• Have delivered campaigns or events end to end, owning timelines, deliverables and reporting.
• Can coordinate multiple stakeholders, agencies and technical teams to achieve an outcome.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and partners.
• Can simplify complex topics into clear, engaging communications.
• Have an interest in people, wellbeing or culture-focused work; health, safety and wellbeing experience is a bonus, not essential.
