Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Program and Communications Lead to own end-to-end communications and engagement for HSW programs. From ideation through to delivery, reporting and continuous improvement, youll manage flagship campaigns such as Safety Week and Wellbeing Week, coordinating stakeholders and internal teams to create energy, excitement and lasting behaviour change.

You'll bring creativity and storytelling to translate complex safety topics into campaigns

Qualifications

• Background in communications, marketing or campaigns.
• Strong writing and storytelling capability.
• Delivered campaigns or events end to end, owning timelines and reporting.
• Coordinated multiple stakeholders, agencies and internal teams.
• Built strong relationships with senior stakeholders and partners.
• Able to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging communications.
• Interest in people, wellbeing or culture-focused work; health, safety and wellbeing experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver integrated HSW communications and engagement plans aligned to business priorities.
• Manage flagship campaigns such as Safety Week and Wellbeing Week end to end, from ideation to delivery, reporting and post-implementation review.
• Create high-quality, multi-channel communications across intranet, email, video and leadership messaging.
• Translate complex safety and risk concepts into clear, engaging content and build a narrative that drives engagement.
• Coordinate agencies, technical teams and internal stakeholders to deliver programs and digital experiences.
• Partner with Group Corporate Affairs to shape messaging and campaign strategy.
• Provide communications support for sensitive or time-critical scenarios, including crisis situations.
• Measure campaign effectiveness and use insights to continuously improve impact.
