Job summary

Swan Transit is seeking a motivated HSEQ Graduate to join our Perth team and gain hands-on experience across safety, environment and quality initiatives within Western Australia's leading public transport organisation. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will support the implementation of the HSEQ strategy, assist with inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.

  • Recent qualification in WHS/OS&H or related discipline.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • High attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Collaborative and proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Interest in a long-term career in HSEQ.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
  • Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Preparing HSEQ reports and analysing performance trends.
  • Maintaining safety, quality and environmental records.
  • Supporting safety committees and toolbox meetings.
  • Assisting with contractor and visitor management systems.
  • Monitoring compliance training requirements and records.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of HSEQ systems and processes.
  • Working with operational teams across multiple depot locations throughout Perth.

Are you a recent graduate looking to build a rewarding career in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ)?

Swan Transit is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HSEQ Graduate to join our team and gain hands‑on experience in one of Western Australia's leading public transport organisations.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced HSEQ professionals, supporting safety, environmental and quality initiatives across our Perth metropolitan operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills, gain exposure to a large operational workforce, and make a genuine impact on the safety and wellbeing of our people and communities.

About the Role:

Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will support the implementation of Swan Transit's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality strategy while helping maintain compliance with legislative and company requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.

About You:
