Job summary

Solarig is seeking an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to support the operation and maintenance of our renewable energy assets across Australia. You will monitor HSEQ performance, conduct site audits, investigate incidents and promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires regular travel and the ability to operate across multiple sites. You will oversee compliance with safety, environmental and quality management systems, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement through collaboration

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in an HSEQ or safety coordination role.
Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular site visits, inspections and internal audits across Solarig’s assets.
Monitor compliance with safety, environmental and quality management systems.
Track HSEQ performance and prepare reports, statistics and recommendations.
Lead or support investigations into accidents, incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate HSEQ records and documentation.
Support development and improvement of HSEQ policies and procedures.
Monitor changes to legislation and industry standards and promote a safety culture.
Ensure training is completed and safety equipment is available.
