Job summary

RSGx is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead site health, safety and environmental programs across major renewable energy projects in regional Western Australia. The role reports to the Project Manager and focuses on compliant, proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

You will develop HSE strategy, manage resources, and drive performance across solar farms, BESS, and transmission works while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HSE leadership within renewables, mining, utilities, or major construction.
• Hands-on experience on large-scale renewables projects (solar, BESS, substations, transmission).
• Proven ability to implement HSE management systems in construction.
• Experience in subcontractor HSE performance and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the HSE strategy, objectives and performance framework.
• Direct and coordinate HSE functions to align with business objectives.
• Lead HSE engagements ensuring regulatory and client requirements are met.
• Plan and allocate HSE resources across operations and projects.
• Support capability development and succession planning within HSE.
