HSE Safety Coordinator — Renewable Energy Construction

Job summary

Jobtailor in Australia is seeking an experienced HSE professional to support a large-scale renewable energy transmission construction project. You will provide hands-on WHS guidance on site, assist with incident investigations, and promote a positive safety culture across the Central-West Orana team.

This role requires 2+ years on major construction projects, a Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, and flexibility to work a 14 days on/7 days off roster from the Central West Orana region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years on large construction projects, ideally including renewable energy projects and high-risk workplaces.
• Cert IV in Work Health And Safety, as a minimum.
• Ability to work across a large, fast-moving construction site.
• Bus-in, bus-out role based out of the Central West Orana Region.

Responsibilities

• Communicate HSE requirements on site
• Assist in monitoring day-to-day site activities to ensure safety compliance
• Report key issues to the site Safety Manager
• Assist with incident investigations and report to appropriate personnel
• Assist in site consultation, including toolbox talks and daily pre-start briefings
• Participate in WHS audits
• Promote a positive work health and safety culture
• Provide hands-on HSE support to the Central-West Orana team on a large-scale renewable energy transmission construction project
