Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced HSE Practitioner to support on-site safety across large-scale construction projects in the Central-West Orana region. You will apply advanced software to HSE admin, review systems, track metrics and coordinate incident investigations while modeling safety leadership on site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as an HSE Practitioner on large-scale construction projects.
• WHS qualifications (Diploma or higher preferred).
• Safety Lead Auditor qualification (desirable).
• Strong communication skills.
• Risk-based methodologies.
• Advanced computer software skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced computer software skills to day-to-day HSE administration.
• Review HSE systems, processes and products and recommend practical improvements.
• Track safety metrics to support continuous improvement across the project.
• Coordinate incident reporting and investigations from start to finish.
• Lead by example to set the standard for safety on site.
• Manage document control processes, including recording, monitoring, archiving and producing routine written communications.
• Support safety culture across the Central-West Orana project’s Energy Hubs and Substations teams.
