Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HSE Risk, Governance & Performance Manager to join our Health, Safety and Environment team on a 2-year fixed term contract. Based in our Franklin Street CBD office and reporting to the Head of HSEQ, this is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and driving HSE excellence across Babcock Australasia.
In this influential leadership position, you will lead the governance, development and continual improvement of our HSE frameworks, ensuring critical risks are effectively identified, assessed and controlled through robust systems, assurance programs and risk governance practices. Working closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders, you will drive a consistent approach to HSE standards, strengthen organisational capability and support informed, risk-based decision making across the business.
You will provide subject matter leadership across critical risk management, management systems, assurance, investigations, contractor governance, emergency preparedness and HSE performance reporting. This role is ideal for a strategic and proactive HSE professional who is passionate about continuous improvement, operational excellence and creating safer workplaces.
