Job summary

Manitou Group is seeking a proactive HSE Coordinator to drive safety excellence across our NSW and WA workshops, yards, and field service teams. The role embeds global safety standards with local compliance and continuous improvement.

You will partner with branch management to implement safety controls, lead toolbox talks, and maintain HSEMS and SOPs, with regular travel to Perth and a base in Rosehill, NSW.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety or tertiary equivalent.
• 2–5 years WHS experience in heavy equipment, machinery dealerships, industrial workshops, or field services.
• Sound knowledge of WHS Acts WA 2020 and NSW 2011 and Australian Standards.
• Proficient with MS 365 and cloud safety platforms (SolvSafety, MYOSH, SafetyCulture/iAuditor).
• Based in Rosehill, NSW, willing to travel regularly to Perth site.
• Desirable: ICAM/Lead Investigator certification or TAEs (TAE40116/TAE40122).

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, chemical storage checks, and racking reviews (AS 4084).
• Lead toolbox talks and site inductions, training matrices, and WHS Committee meetings.
• Maintain HSEMS, SOPs, and SWMS across WA and NSW (WHS Act 2020, WHS Act 2011).
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, track corrective actions, and assist with return-to-work planning.
