A leading mining and civil company based in Mudgee is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Coordinator. This essential role focuses on developing and implementing safety systems across various sites in Central West NSW. The HSE Coordinator will lead safety excellence, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture. Qualifications

• Experience within civil, mining, or construction industries, ideally on major project work.
• ICAM training (or equivalent).
• Current driver’s licence and White Card.
• Excellent communication skills with a knack for building trust across teams.
• ICAM training (or equivalent) and commitment to a proactive, zero-harm culture.
• Current driver’s licence, White Card, and readiness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor WHSE programs and initiatives.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Investigate incidents and champion continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely with project teams to embed proactive safety practices across all operations.

This role is an exciting opportunity to play a leading part in a business that’s expanding rapidly across the Central West, where your decisions and skills will directly influence safety outcomes and project success.

The Role

Based in Mudgee, this is a hands‑on, field‑driven position working closely with general managers, project managers, and engineers across a diverse range of sites.

You’ll be the driving force behind safety excellence, developing and implementing WHSE systems, overseeing audits and risk assessments, and leading the cultural shift toward continuous improvement.

Your work will take you on the road through regional NSW, ensuring our teams are supported in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.

What We’re Looking For
