Job summary

UGL is recruiting an HSE Advisor for the Narrogin Wind Farm project in Western Australia. The role operates on a 10:4 FIFO roster and reports to the site HSE Manager, supporting delivery across construction activities and driving the HSE Management System.

This hands-on, site-based position requires practical safety leadership across civil, erection, electrical and transmission works, with long-term opportunities within renewables. Apply continuous improvement and teamwork to keep the site safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar HSE Advisor role on solar, wind or BESS construction projects.
• Comfortable working a 10/4 roster.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Ability to work autonomously while remaining highly team focused.
• Strong site presence and practical approach to compliance.

• Support pre starts, toolbox talks and on-site safety conversations.
• Complete regular site walks and inspections to keep standards on track.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow up actions.

UGL is a leader in Australia's energy transition, delivering large scale solar, wind and battery projects end to end across Australia. This role sits within our New Energy portfolio, supporting the delivery of these major renewable infrastructure projects.

The first project you'll join is the Narrogin Wind Farm, located approximately 160km south east of Perth. The Narrogin Wind Farm is a major renewable energy development in Western Australia, delivering approximately 200 MW of capacity and will play a key role in WA's energy transition.

About The Role

As an HSE Advisor, you will support site delivery across all construction activities, working closely with the Project Team and reporting to the site HSE Manager.

This is a hands-on, site based role supporting frontline teams, driving compliance, and applying the HSE Management System consistently across civil, erection, electrical and transmission works.
