Job summary

Contour Education in Sydney is seeking enthusiastic tutors to guide groups of students through physics content and problem-solving, with classes held in the evenings and on weekends to fit around university schedules. What You Will Do

• Teach – Guide groups of students through content and problem-solving.
• Coach – Motivate students to engage deeply with content and build confidence.
• Mentor – Share your own study journey and provide relatable advice.
• Connect – Build genuine relationships with students and families.

What You Will Bring

• HSC completion with 99+ ATAR and a Band 6 or E4 result in HSC Physics (Year 11-12).
• First-year university level knowledge or above in Physics.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred, but not essential).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Energy, empathy, independence, and a proactive mindset.
• A full academic year commitment with minimum 10 hours of weekly commitment.
• Ability to work at our campuses.
• Alignment with Contour’s mission (non-compete agreement required).
• A genuine passion for helping students succeed.
