Job summary

Contour Education is seeking tutors in Sydney to help students master Maths, Science and English with small groups and 1-on-1 support. You will teach content, coach engagement, mentor students, and connect with families while working across Contour’s campus network.

The ideal candidate has HSC 99+ ATAR in Mathematics and at least first-year university level knowledge in Mathematics, plus strong communication and a proactive, empathetic mindset.

What You Will Do

• Teach – Guide groups of students through content and problem-solving.

What You Will Bring

• HSC completion with 99+ ATAR and a Band 6 or E4 result in Mathematics Advanced and Extension (Year 11-12).
• First-year university level knowledge or above in Mathematics.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred, but not essential).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Energy, empathy, independence, and a proactive mindset.
• A full academic year commitment with minimum 10 hours of weekly commitment.
• Ability to work at our campuses.
