Job summary

Core Talent are recruiting Waste Drivers to join our local government client within their Waste & Recycling Team. You will operate heavy rigid (HR) vehicles to collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial areas, ensuring safe and efficient service.

The role offers Monday to Friday work with early start times, a supportive team environment and genuine opportunities for permanent employment and career progression.

Qualifications

• Current HR Driver's License.
• Rear Loader experience.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Clean driving record.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate HR vehicles for waste collection, including Rear Loader and side arm.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain documentation.
• Safely lift and handle waste materials as needed.
• Provide courteous and professional service to the public.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily service goals.
