Job summary

Abergeldie in Sydney is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team. Based in Sydney, you’ll operate VAC trucks on project sites across Sydney and regional NSW, with occasional travel to Wollongong and other regional areas, including short overnight stays when required.

You’ll perform daily vehicle inspections, adhere to road and workplace safety regulations, assist with loading and unloading, and communicate effectively with site teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• A current Australian HR driver's license (essential).
• A valid White Card.
• Sweeper or VAC Truck operating experience will be highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to regional project sites and work away from home for short periods when needed.
• Experience within construction or civil infrastructure is considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate VAC trucks across our project sites in Sydney and regional NSW.
• Performing daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Adhering to all road and workplace safety regulations.
• Assisting with loading and unloading as required.
• Communicating effectively with site teams to ensure timely deliveries.
