Job summary

ModularWalls is seeking a Part Time Driver with an HR licence to join our manufacturing team in Kurnell. You will handle truck deliveries and stock transfers, representing the company with a friendly, safety-conscious approach.

Eligible candidates should have a forklift licence (desirable), Hiab experience (advantage), and at least two years of safe driving experience. Part-time hours around 24 hours per week with early finish Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience handling varied loads and tie-down methods.
• Clear communication and competent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Truck driving - HR rigid vehicle, stock transfers and customer deliveries.
• Loading and unloading of truck.
• Face of the business for deliveries with customers, friendly and courteous.
• Forklift operation an advantage.
• Assisting in factory area and packing duties as needed.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety practices.
• Support production team and management as directed.

The Role

The position of HR licenced Truck driver will be based in our manufacturing team in Kurnell.

Key Tasks include

• Truck driving - HR rigid vehicle. Stock transfers and customer deliveries.


• Loading and unloading of truck


• Friendly and happy demeanor as the face of the business for deliveries with customers.


• Forklift operation an advantage


• Assisting in the factory area – general factory and packing duties essential from time-to-time.


• Ensuring excellent housekeeping and safety practices are maintained


• Assisting other team members and managers as directed


• Working with greater operations team and maintaining safety standards

Skills and Experience:

• A valid Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence) desirable


• Proven Hiab experience an advantage


• Minimum of two years of demonstrated safe driving experience/practices


• Experience in varied sorts of loads,loading techniques and tie down restraint methods


• Clear communication and competent English skills


• Ability to work fulltime day shift (6:30am -3.00pm Mon - Thurs. 1:00pm finish Fridays). Part-time hours may be agreed with the right applicant at min 24hrs / week.


• Year 10 certificate or equivalent


• Ability to undertake a physical role (manual handling/standing/Hand unloads)


• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate within production teams
