Job summary

NBCUniversal is offering a Human Resources Intern position in Sydney to support the ANZ HR team within the NBCUniversal Internship Program. This role reports into the HR Generalist, ANZ, and focuses on programs, communications, and employee lifecycle activities.

The internship runs for nine months from March 2027 to December 2027, part-time, with a requirement to be enrolled in studies throughout the duration. A cover letter outlining graduation date and interest in NBCUniversal is requested.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Express.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
• Well organised with great prioritisation skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the delivery of virtual and in-person People & Culture plans for ANZ.
• Create HR communications in line with brand guidelines to share announcements and generate excitement for upcoming events.
• Assist in the planning of Learning & Development initiatives across the business.
• Provide support to the HR team on employee lifecycle processes and actions, including onboarding, benefits and employee engagement.
• Utilise data and research to improve the employee experience.
• Participate in ideation and creation sessions with the ANZ HR team to solve local people-related challenges.
• Collaborate with the HR team in maintaining updated personnel files.
• Review and regularly update the employee portal with upcoming events and important communications.
