Overview

Our client, a purpose-driven organisation in the health and community services sector, is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution while supporting both operational HR functions and employee relations across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, variation letters, and onboarding/offboarding documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Provide timely advice on People & Culture queries and assist with system-related activities
  • Support workplace investigations and contribute to a positive, compliant workplace culture
  • Provide administrative support to the P&C team and assist the P&C Administrator as required
  • Assist with employee relations and industrial relations matters, including performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, internal policies, and the Aged Care Award
  • Contribute to engagement initiatives, internal communications, and training programs
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 23 year's experience in a HR role
  • Exposure to ER/IR matters and workplace investigations
  • Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act and Aged Care Award (or willingness to develop)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in aged care, health, or community services highly regarded
