Job summary

Ausjobz seeks experienced HR Drivers to operate a hook truck based in Biloela, with local driving to Rockhampton, Gladstone, Chinchilla and beyond. You will maintain vehicle presentation, perform daily checks and comply with procedures, with long shifts of 10–12 hours across 4–6 days per week.

Applicants must hold an HR Drivers Licence, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have prior experience with a hook collection vehicle. Waste-industry experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• HR Driver's Licence is required.
• Experience driving a hook truck is essential.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Experience operating a Hook collection vehicle is preferred.
• Experience in the waste industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
• Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as required.
• Service Construction & Industrial in Nowra area.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a number of experienced HR Drivers to operate a hook truck based in Biloela but would involve driving trucks locally as well as covering areas such as Rockhampton, Gladstone, Chinchilla, etc.

• Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or
• operating procedures and company regulations
• Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required
• Service Construction & Industrial in Nowra area
  
• Experience driving a hook truck
• 10-12 hour days, 4.45am starts, 5 to 6 days per week
• Rate: $39.89 per hour plus penalties and super
• HR Drivers Licence
• Australian citizenship or Permanent Resident
• Experience operating a Hook collection vehicle
• Experience in the waste industry desirable
• Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
