Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking an HR Driver/Operator for the South Windsor area. You will load, unload and manage liquid waste across various streams while adhering to safety requirements and quality standards.

The role is physically demanding with opportunities for overtime and weekend work, starting ASAP. Training will be provided for vacuum loading and EPA permit requirements, with ongoing support to maintain high safety and service levels.

Qualifications

Pay Rate: $39.89 per hour + applicable penalties
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm, with potential overtime and weekend work

Synergie Australia is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious HR Driver/Operator to join our client's team in South Windsor.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the loading, unloading and handling of liquid hazardous and non-hazardous waste across various waste streams, including hydrocarbons, industrial wastewater and groundwater.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving manual handling, hose operation, cleaning waste traps, lifting lids using lifting devices, scraping and hosing.

• Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, safe and organised condition.

Essential Requirements

• Current HR Driver Licence.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling duties.
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.

Desirable

• Experience with vacuum loading equipment.
• EPA Permit to Transport as a driver.

Training will be provided for vacuum loading and EPA permit requirements, so previous experience is not essential.
