Job summary

Superior Food Services in Paget, Mackay, is seeking a full-time HR Driver / Crane Operator to join our team. This hands-on role combines warehouse duties, deliveries, and crane operation to ensure timely vessel supply and accurate paperwork.

You will need an HR Driver Licence, strong numeracy and OH&S knowledge, and willingness to work weekends. Training for additional licences and safety certifications can be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.

• Maintain high standards of workplace safety and compliance.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we have an opportunity for a combined role of HR Driver / Crane Operator to join our team in Paget, Mackay.

Overview

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this full-time permanent position plays a key role in servicing vessel requirements and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. This role would suit someone with experience in warehousing, logistics, and HR truck driving who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Your day to day routine will look something like this:

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Complete deliveries in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Operate cranes within port terminals.
• Ensure delivery paperwork and invoices are accurately completed and signed as per company's policy
• Maintain high standards of workplace safety and compliance.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

All about you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current HR Driver Licence (essential).
• Available to work some weekends as required.
• Strong numeracy, literacy, and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A sound understanding of OH&S compliance and manual handling.
• Prior experience in logistics industry is highly regarded.
• CV High Risk Work Licence and/or MSIC Card (preferred but not essential). Training and support can be provided to obtain these qualifications.
