Job summary

GMK Logistics in Sydney seeks an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team. You must hold a current HR licence (manual) and demonstrate fatigue management, reliability, and strong teamwork with clear communication.

Daily duties include safe operation and meticulous paperwork across Sydney metro routes. The successful candidate will maintain a clean, presentable vehicle, comply with safety standards, and be prepared for a pre-employment medical examination including drug/alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Hold a current HR licence (manual).
• Basic Fatigue Management required.
• Be reliable and punctual, with good teamwork and communication.
• Meticulous attention to paperwork and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive HR-logistics vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, presentable vehicle at all times.
• Communicate effectively within a team and adhere to safety policies.
• Willing to undertake pre-employment medical check-up including drug and alcohol testing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our Sydney team. We offer great hours, as well as overtime, in a supportive team with a key focus on safety to the suitable candidate.

To be successful you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a current HR licence (manual).
• Basic Fatigue Management Required
• Possess a positive attitude and great work ethic.
• Be able to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Have meticulous attention to detail with paperwork / written instructions & work ethics.
• Reliable and punctual and available to work 5 days a week.
• Have a current copy of RMS Certificate of Demerit Points.
• A minimum of two (2) years Sydney metroexperience.
• Willing to consistently maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.

Desirable are not essential:

• Experience in the Transport/Logistics sector.
• Forklift license an advantage.
• Experience with “RF” scanning and PDA usage
• Flooring Industry experience would be an advantage.
