Job summary

WorkPac is seeking reliable delivery drivers in Brisbane to support Australia’s largest waste management company. You will handle heavy medical waste bins (up to 30kg) and ensure timely deliveries to healthcare facilities and collection points, while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

Role involves early shift starts between 12am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, with no fixed start times. A HR driver license, reliable transport, and a willingness to pass police and drug screenings

Qualifications

• HR Driver's Licence and reliable transport required.
• Forklift license highly desirable.
• Previous delivery driver experience desirable.
• Physically lift/move bins up to 30kg; reliable and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy medical waste bins up to 30kg.
• Safely deliver medical waste bins to healthcare facilities and collection points according to routes and schedules.
• Load and unload medical waste bins onto/off the delivery vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize risk; adhere to dispatch updates and communicate delays.

What You Will Be Doing

• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including the lifting and movement of heavy medical waste bins up to 30kg
• Safely and punctually deliver medical waste bins to various healthcare facilities and collection points according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Efficiently load and unload medical waste bins onto and from the delivery vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Follow established safety procedures and protocols to minimize risk
• Effectively communicate with the dispatch team, supervisors, and other relevant personnel to relay information about deliveries, delays, or any other issues that may arise.

Shift Structure

You will be required to start between 12am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

What Is Required

• HR Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• Forklift License highly desirable!
• Previous experience as a delivery driver highly desirable!
• Physically fit to lift and move bins of up to 30kg
• Reliability and good communication skills!
• Able to pass a police check
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
• Willing to complete Hep A & Hep B shots
