Job summary

WorkPac is recruiting for a delivery driver role in Stapylton, Queensland. You will transport medical waste bins, load/unload at facilities, and provide excellent service to healthcare clients.

Responsibilities include following safety protocols, communicating with dispatch, and passing police and drug screenings. A HR Licence and reliable transport are essential, with a focus on reliability and safety in a physically demanding job.

Qualifications

• HR Driver's Licence required and reliable transport to Stapylton.
• Pass police check and drug/alcohol screening as part of safety policy.
• Physical ability to lift and move medical waste bins up to 30 kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical waste bins to healthcare facilities and collection points on assigned routes.
• Load and unload bins from delivery vehicle.
• Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and report delays to dispatch.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize risk and communicate issues to supervisors.

About Our Client

Our client is Australia's largest waste management, recycling, and resource recovery company. They collect, process, treat, and safely dispose of waste for households, local councils, commercial businesses, and major industrial operations. Its primary goal is to minimize waste sent to landfill and turn discarded materials into reusable resources.

What You Will Be Doing

• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including the lifting and movement of heavymedicalwastebins up to 30kg


• Safely and punctually delivermedicalwastebins to various healthcare facilities and collection points according to assigned routes and schedules.


• Efficiently load and unloadmedicalwastebins onto and from the delivery vehicle


• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries


• Follow established safety procedures and protocols to minimize risk


• Effectively communicate with the dispatch team, supervisors, and other relevant personnel to relay information about deliveries, delays, or any other issues that may arise.

Shift Structure

You will be required to start between 12am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

What is Required

• HR Drivers Licence + reliable transport


• Forklift License not required but highly desirable!


• Previousexperience as a delivery driver highly desirable!


• Physically fit to lift and move bins of up to 30kg


• Reliability and good communication skills!


• Able to pass a police check


• Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening


• Willing to complete Hep A & Hep B shots
