Job summary

Superior Food Services, a market-leading food service distributor, is seeking a combined HR Truck Driver / Crane Operator in Gladstone. You will load vessels, operate a crane, and drive an HR truck while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Joining a growing national company with a supportive team, you will also handle pallet movement, forklift duties, and ensure WHS compliance. Weekend work may be required, and MSIC eligibility is needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid HR Truck Licence.
• Crane licence/Hiab preferred but not essential; company will assist to obtain CV Crane license.
• Past experience in a warehouse or ability to pick/pack.
• Valid Forklift licence preferred.
• Strong knowledge of WHS procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain MSIC card (company pays for application).

Responsibilities

• Load vessels at various ports in Gladstone.
• Operate crane and drive HR Truck.
• Load/unload trucks using electric pallet jack/forklift in the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Overview

Reportingdirectly to the Branch Manager, it is a full-time position that would includebut not be limited to the following tasks:

Yourday-to-day will look something like this:

Toload vessels at various ports in Gladstone

• Loading and unloading trucks using an electricpallet jack/forklift in the warehouse
• Operate crane and drive HR Truck.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Weekend work might be required (if necessary)

Allabout you:

• Must possess a valid HR Truck Licence.
• Current CV/Hiab Crane Licence preferred notessential - We Will help to obtain CV Crane license
• Past experience in a warehouse or ability topick pack
• Valid Forklift license is preferred
• Strong knowledge and focus on WHS procedures.
• Great communication and customer serviceskills.
• Self-motivation and an unending desire toexcel.
• Ability to obtain Maritime SecurityIdentification Card (MSIC) card is essential. (Company will pay forapplication)
