Job summary

Frontier Software is seeking a seasoned HR professional to manage recruiting across our technology business on a part-time basis. You will draft advertisements, post roles, screen and interview candidates, and build talent pools while also supporting the HR team during busy periods.

You bring standalone internal recruiting experience, HR know-how, and strong communication skills to drive best practices and contribute to a positive company culture.

Qualifications

• Standalone internal recruiting role experience across all functions.
• HR experience to contribute to broader HR team.
• Strong computer literacy with ability to learn new programs quickly (HRIS preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder and candidate management.

Responsibilities

• Draft advertisements and post on appropriate portals.
• Review and short-list applications.
• Conduct screening and final interviews; coach managers on recruiting best practice.
• Proactively build talent pools for future roles.
• Assist managers with the full recruiting lifecycle and support HR team during peaks.

Do you have a background in HR as well as a passion for recruiting? Are you keen to put the full time grind behind you and enjoy the flexibility of 3 days a week? We are seeking a seasoned business professional to assist our team with all aspects of recruiting and contribute to the HR team when time allows.

The Role

Working across the whole of this Technology business, you will assist managers with all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle.

One day you may be drafting advertisements, posting them to the appropriate portals, reviewing and shortlisting applications. On another day you may be conducting screening or final interviews, coaching managers in recruiting best practice or proactively building talent pools.

As a recruiting specialist, you understand that recruiting can be a ‘peak and trough’ function; during the troughs you will love the opportunity to utilize your generalist HR skills and assist the HR team.

To be successful in this role, you will be a seasoned business professional who loves recruiting and understands the importance of learning about the company culture.

You will also bring the following:

• Previous experience in a standalone internal recruiting role with responsibility across all functions. A bonus if this was in the technology or software space.
• HR experience so that you can contribute to the broader HR team
• Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new programs quickly. Previous experience in a HRIS will be highly regarded.
• Very strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
• Demonstrated stakeholder and candidate management skills
• Maturity, flexibility, professionalism, high attention to detail and time management skills

This role will commence mid-January 2027. By 9am 2 November 2026. A police clearance and a valid right to work in Australia will be required prior to commencement.
