About the organisation

We are partnering with a respected not for profit residential aged care provider in Melbourne’s south east. Known for its commitment to person centred care, resident wellbeing and strong community connections, the organisation is equally invested in creating a positive and supportive workplace for its people.

As part of a recent restructure, a new opportunity has been created for an experienced HR and Payroll Officer to lead and own both functions.

The role

If you enjoy being embedded in the business, building genuine relationships and having real accountability across the full employee lifecycle, this role will suit you well. The position is split approximately 3 days HR and 2 days payroll, giving you the variety of working across both people and pay while driving improvements to processes and systems.

You will be a trusted point of contact for leaders and employees throughout the organisation, and you will collaborate closely with the Finance team on all things payroll.

  • Keeping pay rates, employee conditions and payroll data accurate and up to date

This is a great time to join, with the organisation actively investing in better payroll processes and system capability. You will play a key part in introducing smarter, more automated ways of working.

What you will bring
