Our client plays a vital role in delivering housing assistance and homelessness support services across Queensland. They are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred services to diverse customers experiencing complex housing challenges.

About the Opportunity

As a Housing Officer, you will:

  • Deliver tenancy and property management services including home visits, inspections, and dispute resolution.
  • Assess housing applications, manage allocations, and liaise with support agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records using Microsoft and departmental systems.
  • Engage in regular field work, requiring vigilance and risk management.
  • Promote workplace safety and uphold ethical and culturally sensitive practices.

This is a 4-week temporary role with the possibility of extension, based in Cairns, working full-time hours.
