Job summary

Voyages Tourism Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Housing Services Handyperson to live and work on site at Ayers Rock Resort, Yulara, NT. You will join a dedicated housing maintenance team, supporting cleaning, property preparation, and furniture inventory while assisting tradespersons on a range of building trades.

With a current full Australian driver’s licence and a valid White Card, you’ll prioritise urgent repairs, ensuring safety and high guest satisfaction in a unique resort environment near

Qualifications

• Experience in a trade environment with knowledge of building construction
• Hands-on maintenance skills across trades will be used to assist tradespersons and respond to requests
• Current Full Australian Driver's Licence and valid White Card are mandatory

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day housing maintenance operations: cleaning, preparation of properties, inventory for furniture and FF&E
• Ensure all buildings, fixtures and fittings are maintained and repaired promptly as directed
• Prioritise and respond to urgent repairs to maintain guest satisfaction

Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Housing Services Handyperson to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Ulu r u, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

An eager Handyperson who has hands on experience within a trade environment and has knowledge of building construction to join our Housing Maintenance Team. In this role you will ensure all maintenance requests are acted on quickly, safely, and thoroughly, as well as assisting tradespersons in all trade related works when required.

This role requires a current Full Australian Drivers Licence and valid White Card.

Key Duties

• Support the management of the department’s day-to-day operations, in particular cleaning activities, preparation of properties, inventory controls for furniture and associated FF&E
• Ensure all buildings, fixtures and fittings are maintained and repaired on a timely basis as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
• Prioritise and attend to urgent repairs as required to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times
