Job summary

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is seeking a Houseman to join our housekeeping team in Sydney’s CBD. You will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in corridors, pantries and service areas while supporting guest requests and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.

• Ability to move and lift items as part of housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in corridors, pantries and service areas.
• Ensure pantries are stocked with amenities.
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping needs promptly.
• Assist with furniture movement, bed setups and linen changes.
• Support inventory, stock management and recycling procedures.
• Report maintenance issues and follow safety procedures.

About The Role

Are you passionate about providing outstanding service and keeping spaces sparkling clean? The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is looking for Houseman to join our housekeeping department and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our hotel.

• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in corridors, pantries, and service areas
• Ensuring pantries are stocked with necessary amenities
• Responding promptly to guest requests and housekeeping needs
• Handling furniture movement, bed setups, and linen changes as required
• Assisting with inventory, stock management, and recycling procedures
• Reporting maintenance issues and following safety procedures

What do I need to succeed?

• Experienced in a large luxury hotel
• Strong physical ability as you will be cleaning multiple rooms per day
• Availability to work 5 days per week including weekends as rostered
• A willingness to be flexible with being allocated to other tasks if required
• Professional verbal guest communication skills and personal presentation.
• Thorough follow-up, strong attention to detail, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to delight guests and provide superior levels of service.
